Japanese Vn Edict

'Japanese EDICT 1.2' is a dictionary module (simple-dictionary) for use with the 'Verbs & Nouns' and 'V&N Lookup' programs. You can download the latest versions of 'Verbs & Nouns' and 'V&N Lookup' from the Info-Mac mirror sites. They are stored in the directory: info-mac/edu/lang. The original source for this dictionary comes from the Jim Breen's Japanese EDICT project. Please see for further details about the Jim Breen's project. The first port of the Japanese EDICT to the format suitable for use with 'Verbs & Nouns' has been prepared by Michael Fahey in 1999. I've just converted the Michael Fahey's port to take the advantage of the recent improvements in 'Verbs & Nouns'. The dictionary module itself is free, to use it you need the shareware program 'Verbs & Nouns 2.5.6' or later (or 'V&N Lookup 1.4.7' or later) which you can download from the same places as this module - the unregistered versions of 'Verbs & Nouns' and 'V&N Lookup' have some limitations.
