OzPostcodes v1.0 was released in September 15 2001 and contains 16,928 postcode entries as supplied by Australia Post, ranging from 0200 (AUSTRALIAN NATIONAL UNIVERSITY) to 9729 (GOLD COAST MC). The database tracks the following information for each entry:
Postcode Suburb/Town State National Presort Number Comment Parcel Zones Barcode Sort Plan Number Barcode Sort Plan Name Category
You can use this database to lookup the postcode for any suburb in Australia, or find the suburb/state of a given postcode.
